What each number means.
Different outputs use different methods. None establishes your health, strength or exercise ability.
AI photo body-fat range
The model receives your photo, exact height and weight, card selections and optional written context. It returns a rough visual range and describes visible muscle development. The range is an unvalidated guess, not a confidence interval.
Subjective physique score
Our internal appearance rubric rates visible development in shoulders, chest, arms, back, core and legs from 0 to 100. Hidden areas stay unscored. The overall score is the rounded mean of at least two visible areas. It does not rate attractiveness or measure actual strength, performance or health.
Optional Relative Fat Mass calculator
Using height and waist in the same units: the male equation is 64 − 20 × height ÷ waist; the female equation is 76 − 20 × height ÷ waist. These are the two sex-specific equations published by the researchers. Choosing one selects a formula.
Measure on bare skin, with the tape horizontal at the top edge of the right hip bone. Keep it snug without compressing the skin, and read after a normal exhale. This is not a measurement at the narrowest part of your waist.
The derivation included adults aged 20 and older; the validation sample was aged 20–69. Accuracy may differ outside that range or for body shapes and populations not represented in the study. A one-centimetre tape change is shown as a sensitivity example, not an error bound.
Optional internal fitness and health scores
These are our own product conventions based only on the habits you report. They are not validated clinical or fitness assessments. The AI explains the score; it does not infer your health from a photo.
- Fitness: activity contributes up to 50 points at 150 minutes per week, strength sessions up to 30 at two days, and consistency up to 20.
- Health: reported sleep contributes up to 40 points, meal regularity up to 40, and recovery time up to 20.
These simplified buckets do not establish disease risk, nutritional adequacy, sleep quality or physical capacity. A higher score is not proof of better health.
